Welcome to my academic website
![]() Dear visitor,
Let me introduce myself and my scientific interests briefly. I am a mathematician, with a M.Sc. in Computational Neuroscience and a PhD in the borders of Affective, Cognitive and Computation Neurosciences. Currently I am a Lecturer in Biomedical Engineer at Aston University. From a neuroscientific point of view, I am interested in affective neurosciences and mathematical cognition, where I am studying the impact of mathematical anxiety so in mental arithmetics as well as in pure working memory tasks. I am also working with neurofeedback and BCI, and it's potential application in neurovascular diseases. From a methodological perspective, my main research interests are based mostly on human connectivity, where I am currently investigating the connectivity phenotypes of personality using fMRI. I am also interested in graph theoretical modeling of human's brain, as well as the modulation introduced in brain networks either by affective and/or cognitive stimuli or under pathological circumstances. In this website you will find anything you need about me and my work on Neuroscience. If you need something further, please don't hesitate to come in touch with me.
